We've scheduled the C-section for January 11th!
Woo-hoo!
At 9:30 am on January 11th, we will finally welcome our sweet little baby girl! We can't wait to meet her.
Kevin and I, along with The Horras Family, went to see a house in North Little Rock with 55 inflatables in their yard! Yep - 55!!! It was the tackiest thing I've ever seen, yet it really got me in the Christmas spirit! Here we are practicing with our new camcorder so we can make sure we're ready for the BIG DAY!
For those of you who have been following up, Kevin's grandmother participated in the State Beauty Pageant today at Embassy Suites. She competed against 8 other lovely (and spunky) ladies from around the state. One lady was 102 years young! Although Grannie did not take home the title of Queen, she did win a trophy for Mrs. Personality. We are so proud of her. Congratulations Grannie!

The ultrasound technician measured everything and said she's perfect. She also said she had a lot of hair, but no conclusive evidence on if she's a redhead or not. She weighs approx. 2 lbs. 11 oz. right now. She was VERY active during the ultrasound (as always) and was a good sport. She showed us all of her different faces... she smiled, yawned, frowned and at the end gave us a scowl to say she's had enough. We couldn't determine who she looked like more, me or Kevin. Either way, I think she's beautiful!

By the way, we went to the doctor yesterday for our 27 week checkup. Everything is still going great! I had to drink the yummy orange drink to test for gestational diabetes. The first sips were good, but then it became torture trying to get it down within the 10 minute window. But I succeeded without puking everywhere. We should know the results in a few days.
This post is a little past due but I wanted to give you an update on the Queen. As you know, Kevin's grandmother was named Queen at her local nursing home back in June and then she did it again at the District competition! She was announced Pageant Queen at the AHCA District I Pageant back in August, beating out 25 other lovely ladies. Now, she is on her way to the 2007 State Beauty Pageant to be held at Embassy Suites in Little Rock this coming November. Our whole family is obviously thrilled but not at all surprised at her title because she's always been a queen to us. Congratulations Grannie and Good Luck at State!
We're fortunate to have such giving family and friends. My sister Stacie gave me this changing table...
Our friends Eric and Paige gave us this crib, which belonged to their daughter Emery - Baby Yarbrough's future sister-in-law!
The only thing we've had to buy is this armoire, which we found at Austin's Unpainted Furniture.
Now we just have to paint!
