Happy 1/2 Birthday!

Anna is now six months old! Here's what she's been up to:

1. She rolls all over the place. No more leaving her on the bed while I get ready in the morning!

2. She loves her veggies. She eats carrots, peas, green beans and sweet potatos. This weekend she had her first taste of applesauce and bananas. She wasn't as excited about eating sweets like I thought she'd be.

3. Our biggest accomplishment is she's sleeping through the night! Woo-Hoo!!! She goes down around 8 and gets up about 6. I'm finally getting caught up on all that sleep I lost over the last 6 months.

4. She smiles at everything and everybody. And she's starting to talk a lot more. No actual words yet but I'm working on "ma-ma".

5. Daycare continues to be great! She plays in the floor, in the bounce bounce baby, they take her on buggy rides outside, she even paints. She's very happy there.

6. We're working on sitting up. She can't quit do it on her own yet, but she's getting better. She did graduate to the highchair for dinner time, even though she always leans to one side. :)

My Blue Eyed Girl!

Thank You Jacie!

Anna's cousin, Jacie, is letting Anna borrow her Jumparoo and Anna LOVES it! It's amazing, she's only 5 months old and she goes to town in that thing! By the way, our living room officially looks like a daycare exploded in it. We have toys and contraptions everywhere! But Anna's always got something to entertain her so that's good. Thank you Jacie, Tracie and Jason for letting us borrow this for a while.

Playing with Bubbles

Last night, we spent the evening on the patio blowing bubbles. Anna wasn't sure what to think of the bubbles but she loved being outside.

Abby, on the other hand, LOVED the bubbles! She chased them and tried to eat them, as you can tell!

Anna has finally discovered that we have a big dog living in the house too. Anna loves to watch Abby. Last night Abby showed her some love by licking all over her face and Anna loved it.
