New Years!

Since it was Anna's first New Years, we decided to stay in and do nothing. It was the best decision considering we still haven't recovered from all of our Christmas adventures. Besides, New Years is overrated! As you can see, Anna didn't make it to midnight, and honestly, neither did we! Lights out by 11.

Happy New Year Bananas! I know 2009 will be as much fun as 2008!

The aftermath...

After celebrating SIX total Christmas' this year, here's what we have to show for it... TOYS TOYS AND MORE TOYS!!!!

The Yarbrough Family Christmas

After visiting with my family at my dads, we loaded up and went to Searcy to have Christmas with Kevin's family.

Here's Anna opening her "stocking". Kevin's mom always buys us so much stuff for our stocking, she just puts in big bags now.

This is Lindsey. Later she told me that this and her light saber were her favorite toys she got this year. She's such a cute little tomboy!

The Downey Family Christmas

On Christmas Day, we went to my dads house for lunch. My stepmom made a great meal and it was nice being able to see everybody, especially my aunt and uncle who live in Georgia. Each year, this family gets bigger and bigger!

Anna's Grannanny got her this walker. Now it's time to put those legs to use!
Avery and Jacie patiently waiting for their next gift to open.
"Christmas Rocks!" says Anna.

Christmas Morning

We had our first Christmas with Anna and it was so much fun. Santa brought her all sorts of fun toys. And since she's been so good this year, we even got her some too.

Playing with her new toys.
Lesson #1: Assemble all big toys the night before, otherwise your kid loses interest while she waits for you to put it together.
FINALLY DAD! It's done!
And here's what mom and dad got for Christmas... a sweet little angel named Anna. Merry Christmas Poo's Poo's! We love you!

Christmas Eve

Every Christmas Eve, we always go to Kevin's grandmothers house for a big family dinner but this year we mixed it up a little and had Christmas Eve at our house. I really enjoyed having everyone over, and I admire Memama more and more because hosting a dinner for 16 people is hard work. The thing I liked the most about it was being able to use my grandmothers china. She gave it to me when Kevin and I got married back in 2000 and I've never had the opportunity to use it until now. It made the meal even more special.

More Cousins! Here's Lindsey, Emily and Anna

Anna in her Rudolph shirt. (You can't really see it in her hand, but her cousins Melisa and Emily got her a Razorback duckie! It's Kevin's favorite gift!)

Christmas with the Cousins

Each year, my sisters and I get together with the kids for Christmas. It gives us a chance to hang out before the BIG family Christmas. So on Saturday December 20th, we continued our tradition and went to Tracie's house for the festivities. We had a great time and even had some entertainment from my B.I.L.'s (brother-in-laws). They sang karaoke!
