Pumpkin Patch 2009

In keeping with the Yarbrough Family tradition, we headed out to the Pumpkin Patch again this year. We were all geared up to ride the hayride out to the actual pumpkin patch to pick a pumpkin, but the line was so long we decided just to hang out and play instead. Maybe next year we can do the hayride.

Anna's New Table and Chairs

We bought Anna a new table and chairs so she could have a place to sit and play, color, etc. Kevin had to put it together and Anna helped. It was very cute watching the two of them work on this together. She would hand him the screws and she would even try to screw them in herself. Looks like her daddy's gonna have a nice little helper on his hands.

Anna got upset when Kevin wasn't getting the chairs put together fast enough. :)

Once they got the first chair done, she took it over to the table and sat down and started coloring. I knew this would be a good purchase!

She loves her table...

...so much she insists on having her breakfast there now. Here she is this morning enjoying her bowl of Cheerios and milk at her new table.

Look! Up in the sky...

Anna has been fascinated with airplanes lately. She gets so excited when she sees one. The other night she was in our front yard watching an airplane and I thought it was cute.

After the plane flew out of sight, she said "Where he go?"

Cheers! Anna is 21... Months!

Here we are... another month older. And what a difference a month can make! Anna loves to talk! I love it when she says "Where'd he go?" and turns her hands up. It's very cute. She'll also repeat anything you say, and I learned that the other day while changing her diaper. I told her she had a stinky "badunkadunk" and she said "dunk dunk!" Her favorite cartoons are Dora, Backyardigans and Wonder Pets. She goes around singing "Backpack Backpack" from Dora all the time. She loves to read books. One of her favorites is her Big Animal Book. She likes to point out the animals and tell you their animal sounds. She's also getting very good at her colors. Every morning when I fix her hair, she shows me her different hair bows and tells me what color they are. She gets most of them right! Her favorite song is Itsy Bitsy Spider and If You're Happy And You Know It and she likes to do the hand motions with it. All in all, she is doing great and learning and growing so fast. In fact, I had to break down and buy her new clothes the other day... 2T/24 Month! My baby girl is growing up! :(
