A Christmas Sneak Peek

Kevin and I decided to let Anna open one Christmas gift a few days before Christmas, just so she could get a feel for what was in store for her over the next few days. I gotta admit, this kid is a pro. She knows how to open presents!
Anna definitely got Kevin's clean freak gene. After she opened the present, she took all the trash to the trash can.

Cookies for Santa

Anna and I made cookies for Santa. She had a lot of fun decorating them.
These are the special cookies we chose for Santa. He must of liked them because he ate them. :)

Birthday Parties Galore!

Anna has had quite a few birthday parties to go to in the past few weeks. First, we went to Tyler's birthday party at The Little Gym. Tyler is in her class at school and he's such a cutie. He's the one at the head of the table.
The Little Gym was fun. It was almost like a gymnastics place, with a large floor mat for the kids to run around on and different things the kids could climb on. We've never been and Anna really enjoyed it.
This seems to be the look I always gt in pictures these days. :)
Another party we went to was for J'la Brion, another kid from Anna's school. This one was at the Little Rock Athletic Club. There was a huge maze the kids could climb and play in and there was also a big bounce house which Anna really enjoyed.

Here's Anna with the birthday girl.
Kevin was a good sport. He kicked off his shoes and got in the maze with her. By the time we left, he was worn out...
...and so was Anna.

WOW!

What a mess!

Who is this man they call Santa???

Anna had her first experience with Santa last week and as you can tell... she's not a fan! But that's ok. Santa told me she's been a good girl all year and she will get lots of goodies. :)

23 Months

I haven't had a chance to blog in a while and we've done a lot of stuff in the last month so I thought I'd catch up. I hope you enjoy!
Anna just turned 23 months this past weekend. I can't believe she's almost 2! She's a talking machine these days. She's very good at telling you what she wants (and what she doesn't:) and she's very good at understanding what you're saying to her. She comprehends everything! She loves to sing, especially her ABC's and Itsy Bitsy Spider. She's spoiled rotten - everything is "mine" and she loves saying "no". Unfortunately Kevin and I really don't like hearing it. Even though she can be a little anry sometimes, she can also be the sweetest little girl. She loves to cuddle on the couch and she always tells us "i lav yu". Everytime I hear it it melts my heart. She's the best kid in the world and I know I say this all the time, but we are so lucky to have her.

We love you Pooter

Lindsey's 9th Birthday

HAPPY BIRTHDAY LINDSEY!!!
Anna's cousin Lindsey just turned 9 and we celebrated her big day at Jump Zone. Anna had a lot of fun playing in the jump houses. At one point she almost knocked herself out! (I think it scared me and Kevin more than anything:)

Here's Lindsey waiting to blow out her candles.
Anna loves the birthday song. Her teacher told me that her and the other kids in her class sing Happy Birthday all day long. Soon we'll be singing it to Anna!!!
Anna's chowing down on some cake while her "future boyfriend" looks on. His name is Ryan and he's the grandson of MeMe's best friend Kathy. Everytime Anna walks by him, he always reaches out and touches her. It's very cute.
There was a big thrown for the birthday girl to sit in so Anna decided to warm up her seat. :)
Anna had so much fun at the Jump Zone. She loves her Lindsey! Anna and I rode in this small little ice cream truck. Anna didn't want to ride by herself so I squeezed in. Getting out was interesting!
Happy Birthday Lindsey Lou! We Love You!
