3 Weeks Old

We're three weeks in and I'm a walking zombie. Anna has her days and nights confused so she sleeps all day and parties all night... I remember those days!!! Oh, and she won't sleep unless you're holding her. As soon as I think she's asleep and I go to put her to bed, she starts crying. She's still precious though.

We broke down and bought some preemie outfits b/c nothing fits her and I was tired of putting her in the shirts we stole from the hospital. As fast as she's growing though, I'm sure she'll grow out of this very soon. We are both exhausted!

Thank You MeMe!

Kevin's mom came and stayed with us Wednesday to help me out with Anna Claire. She was a tremendous help and Anna loved being taken care of by her MeMe... and I loved being able to catch a few extra hours of sleep. THANK YOU MEME!!!

Two Weeks

It's been two weeks since Anna was born and we're finally getting adjusted to our new little addition. She's sleeping a little longer through the night but I look forward to the day she sleeps all the way through the night. Kevin goes back to work this week and I'm a little nervous about taking care of Anna by myself. However, I am looking forward to just Mommy and daughter time.

One Week Old Already!!!

I can't believe our baby girl is already one week old. This first week has been probably the most tiring yet the most amazing week of my life. We brought Anna home last Tuesday and every day has been a blessing. Even though she eats every two hours and has us up all through the night, I wouldn't change my life for anything. Kevin and I have prayed so hard for this little gift and I can't believe she's finally here and she's all mine.

Since most newborns sleep all day, we had to get this video of her awake. She's so sweet!

Feed Me Daddy

For several days, we had to syringe feed Anna until Mommy got the goods. Kevin loved having his special time with her and insisted on feeding her himself. After several late nights though (as in 2:30 to 8 a.m.), he's kinda glad his feeding days are over.
