Uh-Oh

Anna learned a new word today... "uh-oh". It's amazing how overnight she learns something new.

Poor Baby

Anna experienced her first ear infection this past weekend. We got a call from the daycare saying her eye was swollen and draining. We took her to the doctor and sure enough, it was an ear infection. Poor thing. She had a temp of 101 and her poor eye was almost swollen shut. The doctor put her on meds and said NO DAYCARE so she stayed at home with me on Friday. By Saturday, she was back to normal. Yea! I hate it when she's sick. It makes me sad. :(

Feeling better!

Take A Stand!

Anna's been pulling up on things for a while now, but she's slowly starting to try to stand on her own. The other night, she was standing next to this toy and she kept letting go, trying to hold her balance. She would hold it for a few seconds and get so proud of herself that she'd start clapping. It was so cute!
This is Anna's favorite thing to do these days... open cabinets! Half of our kitchen is child proofed from the family that lived there before us. We've never gotten around to doing the rest of it, but it's on our list of things to do this weekend.
P.S. Anna has two teeth now! Her second one started coming in on the bottom about a week after her 1st birthday.

Christian's 2nd Birthday Party

Sunday we went to Playworld to celebrate my nephew Christian's 2nd birthday party. We had a lot of fun and all the kids we entertained by all the fun toys and games and jungle gyms. Anna got to play in the toddler area in the ball pit and go down slides. She loved it!

A Different Point of View

We finally broke down and bought Anna a new carseat. We did a trial run in the house to see what she thought. The look on her face sums it up... she loves it! She thinks she's such a big girl now!
So we gave it a test run last night for the first time. Anna looked so cute in her big girl carseat. She was looking around and talking, having the best time! She's still a little small but she'll grow in to it.
P.S. It took everything I had not to cry when we put her in this thing. I'm such a sap!
