This Easter seemed to be better than last year, mainly because Anna finally figured out the concept of the Easter Bunny and hunting eggs. (Maybe next year we'll work on teaching her the true meaning of Easter :) Anyway, we had a great Easter with our families and it was so much fun watching Anna hunt for Easter eggs.
Here's Anna finding her Easter basket on the front porch Easter morning. She put her basket out the night before and the Easter bunny left her a lot of good treats.
After church, Kevin's family came over for lunch. It was fun to host Easter this year and give my mother-in-law a break (even though if they weren't renovating their kitchen, she never would've let me do it :) Here's Anna and Lindsey in their finest Easter attire.
Let the egg hunt begin! After lunch, Lindsey and Anna had an egg hunt. I hope they found all the eggs because I really don't want to find a rotten one six months from now.
After it was all said and done, we had one tired two year old. She slept for almost three hours after everyone left.
